Walk Like An Egyptian…
10 days away from the city rush, bills and work can do wonders for the mind! Back home in London I feel rejuvenated and inspired to resume my journey in the (not so) fast lane! With a few changes to implement I have a fresh outlook on life, although I am not sure how long it will last I plan to make the most of it.
Spending time in the motherland where “one minute” translates to one hour later…made me realise I live my life at a hundred miles an hour and I need to slow down and put the important stuff into prospective. Learning to not sweat the small stuff is my new November project…hopefully its ongoing!
Well Hello September!
Sunglasses (Mine) - Topshop
Cable Jumper - Bobo Choses
Weekend Antics: Music Soul Child
The most anticipated AW13 collection from Bobo Choses launches very soon and me and Sienna cant wait!
I am sure those that know me know I have a slight obsession with BC, I remember seeing their SS11 collection at Coos Agency’s Showroom and fell in love instantly. After leaving, homeward bound on the central line I think I read their lookbook over 10 times.
This season I have my eye on two pieces; the Lace Khaki dress and the guitar print Maxi dress…so when working on a shoot for La Petite’s forthcoming AW issue I took the opportunity of loaning samples from Bobo Choses! Before I send them back me and Sienna decided to have a little fun.
Oversized Bobo Choses samples + a metre of black netting + a mattress + Camera = Fun Memories
Checkout this amazing short Movie presented by Quenotte.
It’s about a young boy called Hugo who is about to embark on an unexpected journey. After a fall, he finds himself thrown into the centre of a wonderful, unusual world where he meets Clara, a young mysterious girl who encourages him to follow her and to play with her. Confused as to where he belongs, the young boy gives in and starts to trust her.
Beautifully written and directed by Simon Pénochet and Thibaut Vieville, the story takes us through the seasons with a little help from the lovely Quenotte’s AW12 and SS13 collections.

Slowly but Surely: My Summer Wardrobe Is Creeping In!
So the last week was the start (or may be the last) of our English Summer! Being able to throw on my tuxedo blazer as my only outerwear felt so good! There is something special about summer; London commuters tend to smile more, gas bills are slightly less and most importantly the trends on the High Street are lot more fun!
Today I was gently woke up at 7am by mother nature’s alarm (SUNLIGHT) and began introducing a few summer pieces to my dull and bulky Winter wardrobe. I decided not to go over board as we are in England and the weather is unpredictable, so here is my selection!
Floral Print Shorts (Zara last season)
Geo Print Trousers (Topshop Sale)
Tuxedo Blazer (Urban Outfitters Sale)
Stripe Jacket (H&M 2011)
Shop Spotlight: ANYplace // Japan
Owned by a friend of mine, ANYplace is a treasure-trove for the fashion conscious shopper. The shop’s atmosphere has a contemporary clean feel with an intimate twist which is complemented by the choice of brands on display. From the simple silhouettes of Base Range to the Parisian Chic designs of Quenotte each brand sit in harmony with each other, one rail to another!
Situated in the heart of Osaka means its a little out of my way to get to, however with some of my favourite brands under one roof its definitely on my wish list of places to visit!
